At least a little new blood will join the Ripon Area School Board after the April 2, 2019 spring election.

One incumbent — David Olson — filed non-candidacy papers Tuesday, meaning he intends not to seek a fourth term on the board.

This means at least one new member will be joining the Ripon Area School Board next spring.

Olson joined the School Board after winning his first term in April 2010.

Two other incumbents — David Scott and Gary Rodman — also have terms ending in April. Neither have indicated whether they will seek re-election yet.

Individuals have until Jan. 2 to file candidacy papers, though incumbents must turn in papers of non-candidacy by no later than Dec. 21 if they do not plan to run.
