The results are in, and though Green Lake County had a voter turnout of 55.07 percent with 8,223 voters, its choices for state offices were not mirrored statewide.

   Green Lake County predominately voted for Gov. Scott Walker for re-election, garnering 66.5 percent of the votes; however, statewide, Tony Evers gained more votes.

   Though more than 20 percent in the county voted in favor of state Sen. Leah Vukmir for senator over Sen. Tammy Baldwin, Baldwin still won her second term.

   It was not the same result for representative in Congress for District 6. Voters in Green Lake County favored Rep. Glenn Grothman, with 64.2 percent casting their votes for him.

   Likewise, Sixth District voters favored the incumbent over his challenger Dan Kohl.
