Singing valentines from Green Lake high schoolers warmed the hearts of loved ones and appreciated recipients Tuesday.

Just as the sun and rising temperatures began to thaw the area, the Green Lake High School choir raised its voice to spread a little love — and raise funds.

From students and staff at Green Lake School to grandmas in Ripon to patients and practitioners in Berlin, many were treated to tunes such as “In the Still of the Night,” “For the Longest Time” and “Walking on Sunshine.”

The choir, led by director Virginia Pollock, began the morning at Heidel House and finished back at Green Lake School in the early afternoon.
