It now appears that not one but two businesses created by a father-son team in Ripon will be relocating in full into the former Ripon Foods building at 420 E. Oshkosh St.

In addition to Accurate Controls moving there, as was announced in September 2017, it appears that Advanced Paper Enterprises also will move its entire operation into the massive building. Both were started by Tom and T.J. Rogers of Ripon.

Previously, it was reported that Advanced Paper simply would be utilizing some of the space for warehouse.

Accurate Controls, a high-end security and software company, currently is in a 19,000-square-foot building at 326 Blackburn St. It’s not clear what will happen with that property when it moves — a move necessitated by growth in the business.

According to a press release issued by the Rogers family, “We feel like we have reached a point where we have potential to continue to grow the business, but are physically out of room to expand our staff, our hands-on work areas, our shop area, and our shipping and receiving,” said T.J. Rogers, president of Accurate Controls.

The release adds that the relocation project not only will provide the space needed for Accurate Controls but also “bring back to life this beautiful entrance way into Ripon.”
