The National Forensic League building is for sale no longer, marking the purchase of one of the last usable buildings in downtown Ripon.

Entrepreneurs Tom and Deborah Rogers of Ripon closed on the purchase of 125 Watson St. Tuesday morning.

What happens next is anybody’s guess.

“We have no plans for the future for what is going to happen with the building,” Tom Rogers said.

Why purchase a building with no specific plans on how to use it?

Because the Rogers family sees it as a good investment, both for themselves and in downtown Ripon.

Tom Rogers cited a renewed excitement about the future of Ripon’s main street.
