Jack D. Griffin, 43, Neenah, was charged April 5 in Fond du Lac County Circuit Court with second degree recklessly endangering safety (a Class G felony), attempting to flee or elude a traffic officer (a Class I felony), resisting an officer and receiving stolen property.
Griffin’s wife, Asia E. Griffin, 33, Neenah, also had received charges in Fond du Lac County stemming from the events, including harboring/aiding a felon, which is a felony.
The two suspects allegedly fled Ripon Police officers in a stolen vehicle during a chase that began at Ripon Medical Center in the early morning after Valentine’s Day.
With speeds reportedly reaching 100 mph, the car wove through Ripon streets before the vehicular pursuit ended in a Green Lake County driveway.
According to police, the Griffins then exited the vehicle and ran on foot. Asia was apprehended later that morning, Ripon Police Capt. Bill Wallner said in February.
