Charles “Chuck” E. Gruetzmacher

Charles “Chuck” E. Gruetzmacher, age 70, of Princeton, WI, passed away on Monday, September 24, 2018, peacefully at his home.
Chuck was born on January 27, 1948, in Ripon, WI, the son of Carl and Doris (Laboyeske) Gruetzmacher. He graduated from Ripon High School and went on to serve our country in the United States Army. Chuck was 1st Cav for two tours in Vietnam. He worked at various places of employment such as Fox River Glove, Power Packaging in Rosendale and Bluemkes in Rosendale as a mechanic. Chuck took care of his mother on the farm for many years. He loved gardening and feeding the animals at his home he shared with his brother, Ralph. Chuck was a hard worker and wasn’t happy unless he was doing something.
Survivors include his three brothers, Ralph and Sandy of Princeton, WI, Tom and Karen of Fond du Lac, WI and Steve and Patty of Oshkosh, WI; his sister, Susie Gruetzmacher of Oshkosh, WI and his aunt, Billie Lueptow of Ripon, WI. Chuck is further survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins. He is preceded in death by his parents.
Per Chuck’s wishes, there will be no service. A private family inurnment will take place at a later date at St. Patrick Catholic Cemetery in the Town of Ripon. A memorial is being established in his name.
