Journey Charter School students welcomed winter last week Tuesday with frosting and sprinkles.

The school hosted its “Welcome to Winter Celebration,” which began with students decorating ice cream cones with green frosting and adorning them with cereal, sprinkles and more to make edible Christmas trees.

Afterwards, each Journey elementary room had activities, such as creating holiday cards to go with a bag of cookies that will be given to the food pantry, making paper stockings and cutting out snowflakes.
