   Ripon Area School District celebrated its 11 retirees with a reception before the Ripon School Board meeting May 20.

   The celebration included cake, drinks, chatter and laughter followed by remarks of recognition for each retiree’s service and dedication to the district from their principal or supervisor along with a gift and a flower.

   The honored staff were Custodian John Berndt (23 Years), Custodian Charles Chipman (22 Years), Special Education Aide Lorena Gammon (10 years), Quest 4th-grade teacher Lori Hron (20 Years), Director of Student Services Julie Krackow (2 Years); Clerk Typist – Guidance & Athletics Jackie Lehman (21 Years), Courier/Custodian Art Schwark (45 Years), World Language teacher Jeanne Shohoney (33 Years), Special Education Aide Jeanne Turner (31.5 Years), Journey 2nd-grade teacher Elizabeth Wargula (30 Years) and Catalyst 6th-grade teacher Sandy Wisneski (43 years).
