Commencement speaker Marc Edwards jokes no one else can live a “life well lived” after Ripon College trademarked the phrase and encourages students to pursue such a life.
Commencement speaker Marc Edwards jokes no one else can live a “life well lived” after Ripon College trademarked the phrase and encourages students to pursue such a life.

After several years of growing and maturing in their college education, Ripon College Red Hawks spread their wings Sunday.

Students received their degrees during the college’s 153rd commencement ceremony in Willmore Center’s field house as a result of inclement weather — the first time the commencement was held there.

As their sons and daughters walked across the stage and accepted their degrees, parents cheered as they snapped photos.

Some parents who worked for the college even had the opportunity to present their child with a diploma.

Following the ceremony, the new graduates became the stars of their own photo shoots as family members, friends and fellow graduates mobbed each other for photos.
