Ripon Middle School hosted its annual winter concert last week Tuesday night, which was comprised of performances by jazz ensemble, the sixth-grade band, and the seventh- and eighth-grade band.

The jazz ensemble played pieces such as Fred Sturm’s “Que Pasa, Kielbasa?” and Doug Beach’s “Cajun Chili Peppers;” sixth-grade band, Mark Williams’ “Cardiff Castle” and “Christmas on the Farm;” and the seventh- and eighth-grade band performed pieces such as “Feliz Navidad” by Jose Feliciano and arranged by Paul Lavender and Beethoven’s “Fanfare on Ode to Joy” arranged by William Owens.
