One hot summer afternoon led to a cool end-of-the-year carnival for kids at Barlow Park/Journey Elementary School last week Friday.

Students spent the day scurrying from one activity to another, enjoying games such as kick ball with small pools and slip and slides for the bases, jumbo bowling, human bubble soccer, obstacle courses and minute-to-win-it games.

Youngsters enjoyed their last day of school to the last drop as the event came to an end with a special visit from the Ripon Area Fire District, who hosed down the kids, drenching them in watery fun.
