A car-versus-school bus crash occurred this morning (Wednesday) as roads became slippery due to a snowstorm.
The incident occurred on Douglas Street between Oshkosh and Hall streets.
“It was relatively minor with no injuries,” Ripon Police Chief Dave Lukoski said.
Students were found to be OK, and Lamers Bus No. 2 left the scene a little later to take kids to school.
A press release went out from the district later in the morning, stating, “As part of district procedures, our district nursing staff is connecting with each student involved and staff are contacting the parents of each student on the bus.”
This was one of several such minor crashes to occur due to the weather.
No other details were available as of press time.
