The 15th-annual Ripon College/Ripon Community (RC2) Run/Walk took place last week Saturday in Ripon, with 222 participants completing either a 5k, 10k or half-marathon course.

The event, which was founded in 2005 by Ripon College professor Joe Hatcher, moved from the streets of Ripon to the Mascoutin Trail in 2016 — enabling runners to avoid steep hills and car traffic. It also helped block the wind.

Ripon Medical Center once again served as the sponsor.
