The Ripon Tiger wrestling team jumped out to a 12-0 lead over Kewaskum in an East Central Conference dual last week Thursday.

   It went downhill from there.

The Tigers were out-scored 42-14 the rest of the way to fall to the Indians 42-26 at home.

Despite the loss, Ripon head coach Lee Cotton was pleased with the fight his team showed.

“I thought that we wrestled really tough,” he said of the dual. “I was happy that most of the guys went out and did what we’ve been working on and they seemed to have success when they did that.”

Helping the Tigers get off to the good start against Kewaskum were Kaden Keenlance and Ethan Zache. They won their matches at 132 and 138 pounds, respectively, by pin.
