   Ripon Community Swim Club member Andrew Rodriguez advanced to the finals and finished in first place in all six of his events last weekend at the Wisconsin 13 & Over Short Course State Championship in Brown Deer, Wis.

   He was awarded the High Point Championship award for his efforts and posted three out of six personal-best times en route to accomplishing the achievement.

   Rodriguez wasn’t the only Ripon swimmer to enjoy success at the meet as Marcel Hones finished fifth, seventh and 15th in his events and posted personal-best times in each.

   Quyn Duffy, meanwhile, finished 12th, 16th, 21st, 24th, 25th and 30th in his six events.

   Rodriguez and Duffy will travel this weekend to the University of Iowa for the Speedo Sectionals.
