   For the past few seasons, the Ripon High School baseball team has been led by a solid core of players.

   Now, the Tigers will have to establish a new identity.

   They graduated a handful of three-plus year starters in Jack Kinziger, Braydon Brewer, Tucker Bender and Cody Merrill, as well as two-year varsity players Jake Henderson and Austin Peppler.

   “The players this year just have to be the best they can be and we’ll be OK,” Ripon head coach Dan Jonas said. “We coach for the opportunity to be around good kids and competition of games. The 2019 team is a great group to work with. Value is in the process as much as it is in the results.”

   He added he doesn’t really look at it as replacing players as much as the coaching staff gets to work with new players and continue working with some veterans.
