   A new voice could be heard in the Ripon High School gymnasium, in addition to the sounds of basketballs bouncing on the court, as practice began for the Tiger girls’ basketball team Monday.

   Jesse Nodolf takes over as head coach from Tom McNeill, who resigned in May after two years on the job. Nodolf spent the past two seasons as an assistant coach for the Ripon College women’s basketball team. Before that, he was an assistant under Jason Wickstrom with the Ripon girls’ basketball team.

   He will have a little more than one week to get to his team ready as it opens the season Tuesday, Nov. 13 at home with a non-conference game against Waupaca.
