     WHEN DAVE DUEHRING joined the board for the Foundation for Ripon Medical Center (RMC), it was a natural choice.

    “When I joined Ripon Drug, my mentors stressed the importance of ‘community hospital.’ They were very supportive of it,” Dave said of his colleagues at Ripon Drug, later adding, “When [I was] asked to serve on the foundation board … I readily agreed.”

     Nine years later, Dave’s days on the board are done, but Ripon Drug’s support of the hospital is far from over. In finding his successor, Dave only had to turn to his right to find someone willing to carry on the tradition.

     Fellow pharmacist Connor Hanson now has joined the foundation board, and is excited to take the baton from his colleague.

    “I have a passion for [the community] and want to give back that way,” he said. ...
