     NOREEN JOHNSON FEELS too many misconceptions exist about the Ripon Senior Center.

     It’s just a place to sit and get old, right?

     Do you have to be infirm, or short of cash, to participate?

      Don’t they have beds for the elderly to live there?

     No, no, and definitely no.

     Yet, even after serving the Ripon community for 50 years, as of Monday, the Senior Center continues to get asked such questions.

     That’s what Noreen hopes to change ....
