To the Editor:
Sen. Elizabeth Warren’s reading of Corretta King’s letter and the almost immediate ban imposed on that reading further confirmed my view of what is happening in Washington.
They are indeed draining the swamp, and filling that swamp with the cesspool of like-minded people willing to sell their individuality and instead buy into the agenda driven by the politics of their party.
It seems the only people allowed in this cesspool are those totally in synch with the agenda as exemplified by the Jeff Sessions nomination.
I refuse to believe, he is the best nominee that could have been bought forward; surely there are more qualified, people more interested in making certain that the intent of our Constitutional framework is upheld ...
Democracy as we knew it appears to be going down the drain as the swamp is drained.
A swamp has valuable ecosystems that help clarify waters — an open cesspool pollutes.
