For the hundreds of people who donated to the Old Glory Honor Flight, participated through the fund-raiser, the final totals are in.

     A total of $26,469.50 was raised through raffles, donations and a silent auction. This money went right toward veterans being able to go to Washington DC to enjoy the monuments there.

     I took the flight. It was unbelievable. It is something every veteran should do; it is something you will never forget.

     The most famous words for the day, from every walk of life, nationality that I saw there, was “Thank you for your service.” All day long. ...
