TO THE EDITOR:

(Re: “Can civil discourse heal divisions?” April 26, 2018) I just want to give a thumbs up to Maic D’Agostino’s point of view on civil discourse.

There is one thing I want to point out about the murder of Dr. Martin Luther King. James Earl Ray did NOT shoot Dr. King.

I recently viewed a documentary/history/interview on the murder of Dr. Martin Luther King with Dr. William Pepper who was not only a friend of MLK in the last year of his life, the King family attorney, but he has written about it and a number of other “historical” incidents that prove there are people at much higher levels who use others to do their “dirty” work.

     J. Edgar Hoover at the FBI was at the top of this — it was a Memphis police person who made the shot, and a head doctor at the hospital where MLK was taken who finished him off by suffocating him.

JFK was NOT shot by Lee Harvey Oswald, RFK was NOT shot by Sirhan Sirhan, the twin towers and building #7 did not collapse from “planes” hitting them and on and on. ...

We are run by mobs, syndicates, corporations and alphabet soup gov’t agencies whose interest is in profits and certainly not the truth. ...

Nothing is as it is reported by the mainstream media which is now more or less owned by those who financially pay to have their products advertised. ...
