TO THE EDITOR:

An ominous confluence of events portends war: 1) Trump assembles “war cabinet” comprising still-born again Christian Zionist Mike Pompeo as Secretary of State, Zionist war-monger John Bolton as National Security Advisor, and Gina Haspel, the “torturer-in-chief” of the CIA’s Thailand black rendition site nominated as Director of the CIA, with hysterical harridan Nikki Haley already the UN  Ambassador; 2) false flag operations in chemical weapons attack in Syria and poisoning of former Russian spy in England; and 3) the invitation of [Ripon College]professor Lamont Colucci to uber-Zionist war-mongers Douglas Feith and Richard Miniter to speak at Ripon College.

Trump favors military solutions ...

When Pompeo was in Congress as representative from Kansas he was known as the “Congressman from Koch,” having accepted more money from the Koch brothers than any other congressman, as well as $1.2 million from fossil fuel interests. ...

He advocates regime change in Syria, getting out of the Iran treaty, but denies climate change. ...

Gina Haspel has already been outed as being in charge of the CIA’s torture site in Thailand. When Congress began investigating torture allegations, Haspel destroyed the tapes of the torture sessions.

Haley is an unabashed war-monger and ardent supporter of Israel’s Netanyahu. ...

Prof. Lamont Colucci (who authors pieces advocating war for the Rev. Sun Myung Moon’s Washington Times) asserts that “the only objective is the elimination of the North Korean regime” and this is “the only way to ultimately prevent the vaporization of San Francisco and Milwaukee” (why did he omit Ripon?). ...
