This Wednesday [today] at Ripon High School, two speakers from Collective Wellness will be hosting an informational session about mindfulness.

     Those of us that know of the religious nature of mindful education object to teaching any subject that has its roots in Buddhism, and other mystical faiths, with a now “secular” veneer of acceptability.

     Our hope is that, those who have sincere concerns about the effects of guided meditation being introduced to those just beginning their journey through the public school system would show up at 6:30, at the Ripon High School Community Room. ...
