TO THE EDITOR:

Here’s a tip for the city of Ripon. Station patrol vehicles at the intersection of Eureka and Oshkosh streets to watch for people running stop signs.

This intersection is heavily used by pedestrians and bikers. I have personally witnessed hundreds of vehicles performing “rolling stops” or no stops many times daily.

What will it take to get people to respect posted Stop signs?

Maybe a toddler gets run over while walking with their parents?

Maybe a bicycler gets hit and suffers head injuries? ...
