TO THE EDITOR:

(Re: “Rescind conceal-carry in WI,” Nov. 29, 2018) It seems to me that your call for the repeal of the Wisconsin concealed-carry law is a solution for some problem that does not exist.

As you stated  “This won’t, on its face, prevent the next …..” so why do it.

I would like to see the statistics on the murders and terrorist actions by conceal-carry licensees.

I would like to see the statistics on how many law enforcement officers in Wisconsin have been injured by the firearm of a concealed-carry licensee.
Are people murdered by firearms, unfortunately yes, and are LEO’s injured by firearms, unfortunately yes, but I think no I bet that you will find that these crimes are no done by concealed-carry licensees.

What I really think what you are looking for is a way to keep weapons away from the criminals, other people that should not have weapons, and unsupervised children. That’s the problem you and those in power should be working on. ...

Maybe with all the false news being spread around now a days maybe we should abolish the First Amendment and have the government review all news and censor as needed.
